Ioannis Tsioulakis is a Lecturer in Anthropology and Ethnomusicology at Queen's University Belfast. His main research has focused on the impact of globalisation upon Greek music subcultures and their conceptions of musical creativity. His current research is on the relationship between the Greek economic/political crisis and popular culture.
