Irakli Zhvania is an architect and urban planner/designer from Georgia. He is also involved in urban activism, heritage preservation and lectures on urban planning at Ilia State University. He guides the Tbilisi Ugly Walk, a city tour organised by Iare Pekhit, an NGO promoting pedestrian-friendly urban areas. The walk aims to explore poor architectural quality, shrinking green and public spaces and promote an awareness of architectural heritage.
