Jacques Stroun joined the ICRC in 1980, where he worked in Cambodia, El Salvador Sri Lanka, Yemen, and Sierra Leone, before returning to Geneva to serve in various roles including Deputy Director of Operations, and Director of Human Resources and Finance. In 2010 he returned to the field as Head of the Regional Delegation in Bangkok before leaving the ICRC in 2014

Jacques Stroun a rejoint le CICR en 1980. Il a travaillé au Cambodge, au Salvador, au Sri Lanka, au Yémen et au Sierra Leone, avant de retourner à Genève pour occuper différentes fonctions et notamment celles de directeur adjoint des opérations, et de directeur des ressources humaines et des finances. En 2010, il est retourné sur le terrain en tant que chef de la délégation régionale à Bangkok avant de quitter le CICR en 2014.
