Janine Ewen is a current trustee of Umbrella Lane, a community-based, peer-led sex worker project in Scotland. Janine received an Amnesty International UK acknowledgement in 2014 for helping to report on crimes committed by military police officers against sex workers in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro.
