Jared McBride is a historian who recently completed fellowships at the Kennan Institute and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. He will start as a lecturer in the history department at UCLA this fall, and is currently completing a manuscript on everyday violence in Nazi-occupied western Ukraine.
