Javan Briggs is an experienced community organizer who became involved in rights-based work while leading a Pennsylvania community in leveraging their Community Bill of Rights to successfully resist the threat of a natural gas pipeline. A native Californian, she recently joined the Movement Rights team to continue this work back home.
