Jo Vearey holds a PhD in public health and is an Associate Professor with the African Centre for Migration & Society, University of the Witwatersrand and holds a Senior Fellowship with the Center for Peace, Democracy and Development, McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies, University of Massachusetts, Boston. Jo’s research focuses on migration and health in southern Africa.
