
Jon Roozenbeek is a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Psychology, University of Cambridge. His PhD dissertation (2020) examined media discourse and disinformation in the "People's Republics" of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine. He currently works on misinformation, vaccine hesitancy, and online extremism. As part of his research, he has developed several interventions aimed at tackling online misinformation, including award-winning "fake news" games such as Bad News and Harmony Square. He is currently authoring two books with Cambridge University Press, the first about the psychology of misinformation and the second about information warfare in Ukraine.
