Jonathan Lewis is a lecturer in the School of Languages and Area Studies at the University of Portsmouth where he teaches on the Francophone Africa MA. His recently completed his PhD at the University of Exeter on ‘Conflict and Remembrance in Franco-Algerian Literature, 1981-1999’.
