Josie Gill is a Lecturer in Black British Writing in the Department of English at the University of Bristol. She is Principal Investigator of the AHRC funded project 'Literary Archaeology': Exploring the Lived Environment of the Slave and she sits on the executive committee of the British Society for Literature and Science.
