Karl Littlejohn is from Malta  He obtained his first degree from the University of Malta, and is a former president of the Arts Students' Association (ASA) at the University of Malta and former President of the Malta University Historical Society (MUHS). He read an MA in Black Sea Studies at the International Hellenic University (IHU) in Thessaloniki, Greece. His main themes for research and discussion are: the Balkans, the Black Sea and Eastern Europe, diplomacy and International relations.
