Katerina Dalacoura is an associate professor in the department of International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science who specializes in democracy and human rights in the Middle East with a special emphasis on Egypt, Iran, and Turkey. Her book Islamist Terrorism and Democracy in the Middle East was published in April 2011 by Cambridge University Press.
