Kathleen B Jones is a professor emerita of women’s studies at San Diego State University and the author of numerous books and articles on feminism and the women’s movement including Compassionate Authority: Democracy and the Representation of Women, Living Between Danger and Love, Women Transforming Politics, co-edited with Cathy Cohen and Joan Tronto, The Political Interests of Gender and The Political Interests of Gender Revisited, both co-edited with Anna G. Jónasdóttir. Her most recent book is Diving for Pearls: A Thinking Journey with Hannah Arendt, a personal narrative.
