Kellea Miller is a feminist researcher and grantmaking professional based in the United States. She is currently Deputy Director for Human Rights Funders Network (HRFN) and formerly served as Manager for AWID's Resourcing Feminist Movements Initiative. Since 2002, Kellea has worked to advance transformative resourcing of feminist movements at organisations such as Global Fund for Women, Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, UN Women, and Mama Cash. Kellea holds a PhD in Sociology and a BA in Public Policy & Feminist Studies. Her academic research focuses on gender equality discourse, global feminist movements, and development financing.
In her spare time, Kellea teaches self-defense, serves on the boards of the International Accountability Project and Community Beyond Violence, and frolics with her kids.
