Laya Behbahani is a research assistant at Schulich School of Business. She is an expert on labour standards and human trafficking in the Gulf states of the Middle East and has worked at the Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Section of the Organized Crime and Illicit Trafficking Branch at the United Nations in Vienna.
