Leeanne Torpey is the Coordinator of the Global Campaign to End Immigration Detention of Children. Leeanne has worked to develop and disseminate training in media to promote empowerment and community development, including working in Western Sydney at Information and Cultural Exchange, as a reporter with the Australian Broadcasting Commission, and in Tonga with the Women and Children Crisis Centre. Leeanne has a Graduate Diploma in Journalism and a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney.
