Loritta Chan is a PhD student at the Institute of Geography, University of Edinburgh where she is looking at education for waster picker children in an urbanizing India. She also works assisting to finalize this research on Sri Lanka. Her Masters was successfully completed at the University of Washington, Seattle and undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, USA.
