Luisa Orsa has been working in the field of HIV / AIDS and gender for 10 years. She has a Masters in Gender and Development from IDS at Sussex University, and worked in the Support Office of the International Community of Women Living with HIV and AIDS from 2003 to 2008. She now works as an independent consultant and writer, maintaining a strong focus on working with networks of women living with HIV, and promoting positive women's rights, especially sexual and reproductive rights, and the meaningful involvement in policy and programming.
