Marion Bowman was director of One World Media until August 2012, before joining openDemocracy 50.50 as a Commissioning Editor. Marion was a presenter, producer and commissioner of current affairs programmes for Channel 4 and ITV, and worked for the BBC as a producer and as Managing Editor, Entertainment. She was Deputy Director of Programmes with the Independent Television. Marion has written for numerous publications including The Guardian, Sunday Times, Observer and New Statesman.
