Mary Martin is Associate Research Fellow of the Civil Society and Human Security Research Unit at the London School of Economics , and visiting professor of the Institute of International Studies in Barcelona. She was the co-ordinator of the Human Security Study Group reporting to the High Representative of the European Union from 2006-2010 and is the author of several books and articles on human security, including co- editor of The Handbook of Human Security ( Routledge 2013).
