Mike Schwarz is a lawyer, a solicitor specialising in criminal defence law, especially where human rights and civil liberties are engaged. He represents clients facing the most serious charges. For almost thirty years he has acted for political activists and campaigners on issues such as the environment, animal rights, peace/disarmament, race and social justice. He is joint author of 'The Law of Public Order and Protest' (Oxford University Press, March 2010) and regularly appears in the specialist and mainstream broadcast media.
