Miklós Haraszti is a Hungarian journalist, human rights activist, diplomat, and writer. A participant in the 1989 Hungarian Roundtable Talks on the transition to free elections, member of the Hungarian Parliament and media affairs spokesperson for the Alliance of Free Democrats, Haraszti served the maximum of two terms as the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media from 2004 to 2010.
