Muhammad Amir Nasher An-Naam is a Germany-based Syrian researcher. His studies focus on Islam in its historical representations, contemporary realities and future prospects. He has published a number of papers, articles and books, most recently ‘Ages and Apothecary: The Demise of Contemporary Islamic Culture’ (Ad-Dahr wa Al-‘Attar: Ihtidarat Ath-Thaqafah Al-Islamiyyah Al-Mu‘asirah, available in Arabic only).
