Nadia Ghulam is a writer and activist from Kabul, Afghanistan, currently based in Barcelona, Spain. She is the author of ‘The Secret of my Turban’, which won the prestigious Prudenci Bertrana prize in 2010. She has since published two more books, ‘Tales That Healed Me’ and ‘The First Star of the Night’. She also produced and starred in a play about her story, ‘Nadia’ together with Carles Fernández Giua in 2016.
