Natalia Abrams is the Executive Director of Student Debt Crisis (SDC) where she advocates for student loan debt reform, and the creation of lending solutions for all borrowers and students pursuing affordable and accessible higher education.
An L.A. native, Natalia has become a savvy, telegenic, go-to voice on student debt. She has appeared on CNBC, NBC, “CBS Sunday Morning,” CSPAN, Fox News and numerous other television outlets. Natalia contributes to The Nation and The Huffington Post and is repeatedly cited as a subject matter expert discussing the economic injustices facing students and borrowers in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, NPR, Politico, Reuters, and the AP and elsewhere.
Natalia holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Gender Studies, and has served with the Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF), first as a student intern, and then as VP of the UCLA student chapter.
