Natalia Mamonova is a research fellow at the Russia and Eurasia Programme of the Swedish Institute of International Affairs, Stockholm. Before pursuing an academic carrier, she worked as a journalist at the Authors’ Television and as a project manager at The Centre for Environmental Initiatives in Moscow. Natalia received her PhD in 2016 from the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University, the Netherlands. Her research interests include rural politics, social movements, food sovereignty, and agrarian change in Russia and Ukraine.
