Natalie Welfens holds a Double-MA in International Relations and Political Science from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and Freie Universität Berlin. Currently she is working as a doctoral researcher at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR) of the University of Amsterdam. Her research looks at inequalities and questions of inclusion and exclusion in European migration and refugee policies, in particular in European resettlement and humanitarian admission programmes.
