Neil Renic

Neil Renic is a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg (IFSH). His research focuses on the changing character of war, autonomous weapons and the ethical and legal regulation of armed conflict. At IFSH, Neil’s research is supported by the ‘Arms Control and Emerging Technologies’ project, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office. Neil has a forthcoming book with Oxford University Press titled: “Asymmetric Killing: Risk Avoidance, Just War, and the Warrior Ethos”.
