Nicholas Yatromanolakis has worked both at the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) in Athens and at the Kokkalis Program on Southeastern Europe at Harvard in Cambridge, MA. He has edited several books on the EU and Southeastern Europe, including New Approaches to Balkan Studies. He has worked extensively in the private sector in senior management positions in companies such as Microsoft and protagon.gr. In 2012, he launched the award-winning e-shop xombli.com, which showcases and promotes Greek design. In 2013, he was awarded the prestigious Marshall Memorial fellowship, one of the major transatlantic leadership development programs.
