Nick Ritchie is a lecturer in international security at the University of York. His research focuses on UK nuclear-weapons policy, nuclear disarmament and national security. He was previously a research fellow at the Department of Peace Studies, University of Bradford, and a researcher at the Oxford Research Group. Recent publications include A Nuclear Weapons-Free World? Britain, Trident and the Challenges Ahead (Palgrave, 2013).
