Pascal Petit is an economist, emeritus research officer CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), attached to the Centre d’Economie de Paris Nord CEPN , University Paris 13 Sorbonne Paris Cité. He has published books and articles on : a) economic growth , innovation and employment , b) structural changes and institutional dynamics and c) new forms of internationalization and competition, including The hardship of nations : exploring the paths of modern capitalism (Edward Elgar 2006 , edited with B.
