Paul Bernal is a Lecturer in IT, IP and Media Law at the University of East Anglia, and specialises in internet privacy – his book Internet Privacy Rights: Rights to Protect Autonomy was published by Cambridge University Press in 2014. His areas of research interest include surveillance by both government agencies and corporations, data protection, human rights and the use of social media: he is a prolific blogger and tweeter (as @paulbernalUK).
