Dr. Peter Rees is a political theorist in the department of Politics and International Relations at Goldsmiths College, University of London. He was formerly an ESRC Postdoctoral Fellow at Aberystwyth University. His research investigates the relationship between human rights and citizenship through a focus on irregularised migration. He has published in journals such as Political Studies, Contemporary Political Theory and Tropos. He is a postdoctoral researcher on the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paulo research project: Traces of Mobility, Violence and Solidarity: Reconceptualizing cultural heritage through the lens of migration.
