Prio Sambodho is a PhD Candidate at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research. He is part of a project called “From Clients to Citizens? Emerging Citizenship in Democratising Indonesia, a collaboration between Universitas Gadjah Madah, the University of Amsterdam, and Leiden University which is funded by the Dutch and Indonesian Governments.
