Raffaella A. Del Sarto is professor at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute, where she directs the BORDERLANDS research project. She is also adjunct professor in Middle East Studies and International Relations at The Johns Hopkins University, Bologna Center.
