Ranjitha Balasubramanyam is a Germany-based journalist and humanitarian researcher with over two decades of journalistic experience, working mainly for European broadcasters. She has covered international affairs, as well as economic and environmental issues, and reported from conflict zones. Previously, she conducted research for various INGOs and worked in Syria with an international organization.
