Richard is currently studying for a doctorate in Political Theory at the University of Oxford. His research interests range from constitutional reform to mass participation in new forms of social media. His doctoral thesis aims to present a new theory of democratic politics, centred on the way that communities collectively redefine political concepts and institutions through popular engagement.
