Rosemary Hollis is a professor of Middle East policy studies and director of the Olive Tree Scholarship Programme at City University London. From 1995 to 2008 she was head of the Middle East Programme and then director of research at Chatham House. The focus of her research since 1980 has been on conflict and international engagement in the Middle East.
