Dr Runa Lazzarino started investigating post-trafficking life in 2010. She is currently a research fellow at the University of Nottingham on a project on post-slavery mental health. Previously, she was visiting fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies at UCL. Runa is supervising an intervention in Mumbai which provides a group of shelterised trafficking survivors marketable and creative skills, assessing their impact on the beneficiaries’ wellbeing.
