Ryuta Imafuku is a professor of Anthropology and Communication at the Graduate School of Global Studies, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Japan. His books include The Heterology of Culture(1991), Technology of the Wild (1994), Mínima Gracia: History and Craving (2008), The Archipelago-World(2008), and Claude Lévi-Strauss, Night, and Music(2011) among others.
