Sarah is finishing her third year at Georgetown University, studying government and justice & peace studies. On campus, Sarah is co-chair of the OWN IT Summit and co-president of the Jewish Student Association. Following the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook School, which her mother survived, Sarah began to fight gun violence through legislative action, cultural change, and coalition building. Sarah’s academic and advocacy interests include restorative justice and social movements.
