Saurabh Dube is Research Professor at El Colegio de México in Mexico City and currently a Fellow of the Stellenbosch Institute of Advanced Study, South Africa. His research explores issues of evangelization and empire, caste and religion, nation and modernity, law and legalities, and subaltern aesthetics and elite cultures. A former Guggenheim Fellow, Dube’s publications include over twenty authored books and edited volumes as well as around hundred journal articles and book chapters.
