Shahin Nasiri is a lecturer in Applied Ethics and Philosophy of Science at the Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and a PhD-candidate in Political Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). His doctoral research concerns a phenomenological inquiry into the notion of ‘freedom’, examined from the perspective of refugees.
