Silvia Aru (PhD) is an assistant professor in Political and Economic Geography at the Interuniversity Department of Regional and Urban Studies and Planning (Dist) of the University and Polytechnic of Turin. Her research interests centre on migration processes, socio-spatial justice and inclusion issues. Between 2018 and 2020, she conducted the Marie Curie Project “A Place for the Asylum Seekers. European migration policies and their socio-spatial impacts (PASS)” hosted by the University of Amsterdam.
