Susan de Muth is a London-based journalist who has written for most of the dailies including a stint as a columnist on the Independent. In recent years she has specialised in Middle Eastern politics, particularly Palestinian issues and 'Jihadism', contributing to several key works including The Secret History of al-Qaeda (2006) and Islamic State: Digital Caliphate (2015) both by Abdel Bari Atwan.
