Sylvia Harvey is Visiting Professor in the School of Media and Communication at the University of Leeds. She has published on film history and policy, on the political economy of media and on broadcasting policy and regulation. She is a founder member of the Sheffield International Documentary Festival, a Trustee of the Showroom Cinema and of the Voice of the Listener & Viewer.
