Tamás Ibolya is a Copenhagen-based independent political analyst and former Hungarian diplomat. In the course of his diplomatic career he served as Head of Secretariat of the Deputy State Secretary for EU External Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary and subsequently as political counselor at the Embassy of Hungary in Copenhagen. In the latter capacity he extensively reported on Danish positions on EU policies and on Danish domestic politics.
