Tsitsi B Masvawure is a medical anthropologist and post doctoral research fellow at the HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies at Columbia University, New York. She is also affiliated with the Center for the Study of AIDS at the University of Pretoria. She is trained as a medical anthropologist and is interested in how gender, youth sexual cultures and HIV intersect.
