Ulrike M Vieten

Ulrike M Vieten is a Queen’s University Fellow at the Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice. She is an expert in research on racism, gender (intersectionality), migration, citizenship and on far right populism. She previously held a British Council/ Newton Fund grant on ‘the politics of loss’, in 2016, also in cooperation with Fiona Murphy and Evropi Chatzipanagiotidou. She is a board member of the International Sociological Association (ISA) ‘Research Committee on Racism, Nationalism, Indigeneity and Ethnicity’(RC05).
