Violet Dickenson has worked alongside refugees in East and Southern Africa. Violet is a volunteer activist and advocate for asylum seeker and refugee women in Sheffield, active in the DEWA Project (Development and Empowerment for Women's Advancement) and Why Refugee Women, and a vice-chair of SYMAAG.
